Sumatra, Aceh, overall 41 cm, blade 22.5 cm, hilt 13 cm -1200D139

   Hilt, Hulu Meucangge, the base is forged with the blade, the remaining is in buffalo horn, both ends are thin, in its center it  widens in a right angle curve. Wooden sheath made in two halves and tighten with 2 straps, the mouth long protuberance has been cut, its bottom curves at a 45° angle towards the back of the blade, like an inversed shoe, it decorated with engraved flower designs. All along the sheath is decorated with poker work interlace designs. This type of work is typical to Aceh weapons, it can also be seen on the Sikim Panjang sheath.
