Lombok, overall 68 cm, blade 50 cm, hilt 17 cm -0592E160-

The Sasak are people living in Lombok. They are classified in three categories: the Bodha Sasak who resisted conversion in isolated areas of the North Lombok hinglands, the Wektu Tulu (a syncretic of Islam with traditional Sasak believes) and the Waktu Lima (orthodox Muslims). The Balinese conquest of the island reduced the Sasak to servitude.
